Modern times are changing thinking about permanent housing such as it was taken in the past. Home was the place where we lived, where we were occupied by our activities, where we spent time with family, where we were getting older. If we go even further, the home was a large self-contained unit - homestead, where we spent all the time, we worked there and built. Travelling was limited, seldom and only on small distance. Today everyone is travelling for work, education, family. People change their location and place of scope more and more frequently. Professions which are directly related to moving to for a specified period were formed. More and more people live migratory, mobile and variable life. Our residence is constantly changing or we do not have any because of migrating from place to place. All the free time we spend in a vehicle. Different contexts of social spaces alternate. More and more people in today's society are uprooted from their original social environment. However any new environment cannot become that real, authentic home. One loses a piece of its own identity.
SYSTEM VARIABLE SPACE is comprehensively designed for the variability of functions, activities, space. Finding solutions within predetermined vision led to the creation of the script, which after setting the individual input parameters generates a set of building blocks to form the structure of the object. It is a folding structure consisting of prefabricated boxes with built-in device. The system works so that it selects the module width of each frame (by future functions) and their depth. Each frame consists of four boxes (two wall boxes, floor, and roof). Important is to maintain linear relationships between the individual boxes to be able to collapse them. Length ratio of individual boxes can be adjusted using curves. Inexhaustible possibilities of the final appearance of the building are generated. Inside each box there are hidden plumbing fixtures that do not interfere with the space and thus do not limit the user unless they are used. Optimal grouping function boxes are addressed to individual requirements. Frames can be modified, combined, added. If a user changes his or her needs, the box can be transformed or replaced by a new box with required equipment. Variable Space thus does not lose its usefulness. If the user changed his site of action, he would leave his stuff in the boxes; frames would be folded, loaded onto a means of transport and easily to be moved. At the destination, Variable Space can be quickly and easily again decomposed and simply plugged into a central network. The design and technical solutions are adapted to the needs of the user, provide him with background and does not limit it.
